It really has, and I struggle with it, too. I hate using words like Feminism, Patriarchy, etc. Even when it is the perfect word to use in the right context. I feel absolutely cringe saying or typing such words out.

But I realize that my aversion to it is by design. Conditioning us to feel embarrassed by Feminism, or misunderstanding its meaning, is not something that's happening by accident.
