I think what you said about being attracted to "women who were achievers in their chosen field" is what a lot of people misunderstand about women.

Many of us are attracted to people who are driven. It's not so much about how much they're making, but rather how hard they try. Having goals and being ambitious are great qualities, especially if you're looking for a life partner.
