This is something I have always envied. Many of my friends are from India and Pakistan, and their family culture is so supportive and tight-knit. Everyone takes turn looking after the young, looking after the old, and balancing all of life's challenges together.

I think this is a function that we desperately need to return to/adapt in the western world, where having a family feels economically impossible. And, honestly, just to live a happier life, overall.
