Very interesting read! It's strange how difficult it can be to find, identify, and enjoy happiness. For me, happiness is scary, too. It makes me anxious and confused. Especially when it seems to appear for no reason.

More than anything though, it's scary because I know it will be fleeting. That moment of happiness will end.

But I guess that's why we have to try and appreciate those waves of grace when they hit us - and look forward to the next one, instead of dreading the moments between.

We all have to figure out how to manifest our happiness, make it last, and help it grow. I hope your friend(?) finds her way to do that.
